Beyond the Strong Black Woman: Embracing Vulnerability and Limits
About This Roundtable
For too long, we’ve shouldered the burden of the “Strong Black Woman” stereotype, sacrificing our authenticity and well-being on the altar of professional success. In this roundtable, we’ll rip away the mask and explore the pressure to be invincible, and the fear that vulnerability equals weakness. Together, we’ll consider a new paradigm — one that embraces our full selves, limits and all. We’ll explore how showing up authentically can be our greatest strength, and how setting boundaries can cultivate an expanded version of success.
