This roundtable offers a safe space for Black women executives to discuss the challenges of leading during organizational change and managing stress. Through meaningful conversations with like-minded peers, participants will gain practical strategies for navigating changing times, communicating effectively, and building resilience. The roundtable features insights from other Black women executives sharing best practices, interactive activities, and a supportive network of other Black women executives. You will leave feeling empowered to lead with strength and resilience, even in the most challenging circumstances.

Part 1 – Navigating the Challenges of Organizational Change

Through candid conversations and perspective sharing you will:

  • Develop personalized action plans for building resilience and sustaining leadership

Dr. Kym A. Harris-Lee

Dr. Kym Harris-Lee is a board-certified executive coach, speaker, and published author. She utilizes a strategic and intuitive approach to guide clients out of their comfort zones in a way that minimizes discomfort and amplifies desired results. Along with coaching individuals and corporate clients, Dr. Kym has served as a personal coach for the Kennesaw State University Coles Executive MBA and MBA Programs. She is currently a member of the coaching team for the McKinsey Black Executive Leadership Development Program and has served as a member of the faculty team for Smith College Executive Education.

Dr. Kym’s career in Human Resources and Talent Development represents leadership and executive roles in higher education (University of Miami and Emory University), and corporate organizations (The Home Depot and Cox Enterprises). She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers University, a master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University, and a Doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University.

Dr. Kym is the author of From Life to Lessons – Living and Leading with Emotional Intelligence. Her second book, Unmasked– What it means to be Emotionally Intelligent | A Career Guide for Black Professional Women will be available in late 2025.
