Whitney joined Parkridge Medical Center in 2020 as Market Associate Administrator. She was quickly promoted to VP of Operations / Co-Ethics & Compliance Officer. She now serves as Parkridge’s Chief Operating Officer and has dual responsibilities at both Parkridge Medical Center and Parkridge West Hospital, providing leadership over 18 clinical support service and ancillary support service departments as well as surgical services. Additionally, Whitney serves her community through helping to lead the Orchard Knob Collaborative and she serves as Board Member of the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga.
Whitney came to Parkridge from Bon Secours Mercy Health in December of 2020 where she was director of their Neuroscience Service Line and started as an Administrative Fellow. Prior to that she worked as an Administrative Resident at New Orleans East Hospital in New Orleans. She is a Fellow with both the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Urban League. She has a Master of Health Administration from Tulane University School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science from Loyola University New Orleans. Whitney received the ACHE Kentucky Regent’s Early Career Healthcare Executive Award, and she was named a top 10 finalist for the Young Leader of Western Kentucky Award in the same year. Most recently, Whitney was named as the “Rising Star” Champion of Healthcare by the Chattanooga Times Free Press. She is a 2024 cohort graduate of HCA’s prestigious Executive Development Program, and was named COO track associate of the year for the program.
Most importantly, Whitney loves spending time with her husband (Corbin), son (Ray) and daughter (Zuri). Her life philosophy is to embody love through action.
